About the Closing Keynote Speaker – Meet Devyn Walker

Devyn Walker puts a little sweet southern twang into every sun salutation and therapeutic approach that she utilizes. Devyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Registered Yoga Teacher based in Dallas, Texas. Therapy and yoga are very personal to Devyn because she used both to help herself out of a dark place after bearing the burden of discovering her father dying by suicide. After embarking on her own healing journey, Devyn quickly realized that many of the issues within the black community are generational, which prompted her to create Transcend Wellness Boutique, a mind-body boutique that specializes in holistic wellness services.

Devyn specializes in working with black women who struggle with trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and ADHD. Devyn lives by the motto that everyone is capable of creating a life they love regardless of their barriers, and she guides all of her clients on how to do so by making mental wellness relatable and obtainable. Devyn is passionately dedicated to breaking generational curses within the BIPOC communities to increase the quality of life for the generations to follow.
